Butterworth's Transport continues to be a family-owned and operated business that has served the West with distinction for the past two decades. With our ever-expanding fleet, we move loads across the US Pacific Northwest and western Canadian provinces daily. From pneumatic dry bulk to timber and from temperature sensitive food and beverages to heavy and over height loads, Butterworth’s has you covered.

Ample Facilities

In 1998, Butterworth’s purchased the same venue they had previously rented. They soon customized the property by creating 3 well-appointed service bays and two floors of office space. They expanded yet again with the purchase of 5-acre site, increasing the container parking and truck lot capabilities.

With steady growth over the years and an increasing array of trucking services, specialty equipment and qualified personnel, Butterworth’s has become one of the premier transport companies in the Northwest. The expansion of the business can be largely attributed to stellar customer service with a decidedly ‘personal touch’. Butterworth’s courteous and professional staff prides themselves in getting to know each customer so they can better address their needs.

An ever-expanding business

A strategic plan to acquire other established trucking firms has created the critical mass required to facilitate any size of shipment and specialized cargo from the Great Lakes to the Pacific Ocean. The recent acquisitions of an Alberta based company and the Van Division of another local firm has been a particularly good fit. With a growing fleet of over 100 trucks on the road, the number of routes and availability has already proven to be a great advantage to the many loyal customers, and has provided increased flexibility for new clients as well. The new lines have also expanded Butterworth’s routes to now include the Provinces of Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario.
